G-Strings is a GUI tool similar to Sysinternals command line Strings tool
As well as scanning files for embedded strings it can also dump strings out of a process
Being a GUI tool gives the user more flexibility for the found string results
Features
32 bit and 64 bit versions
Scan any file or process for strings
File queue system which stores all scanned results
Results can be sorted in any number of ways
Sub-string search can be done on any found strings either on a single file or process or the entire file queue
Drag and drop Folders / Files
Right click context menu shell extension support for adding files or folders
Settings for minimum string length, Ascii and/or Unicode search
Copy Selected / All results to clipboard or save to a file
Results stored in a dynamic array of records which is linked to virtual listviews for speed and flexibility
